A huge thank you to all our players and parents who joined us for the Mini & Junior presentations on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. It was a full house on both days, which just goes to show how our section is thriving—and that our children truly are the future of this club!

A special thank you to Jack Ayrton, George Oyston, and Harm Dokter for presenting the Junior awards, and to Orainn McMeeking and Fred Manning for presenting the Mini awards. Your support is hugely appreciated, and we hope many of our young players are inspired to follow in your footsteps.

Congratulations to Colm Stewart on winning the Junior Clubman of the Year Award, and to the U12s and U9s coaching teams for receiving the Coaching Team Awards. A huge well done also to Ruth Copsey, who was honoured with the 'Yvonne Watson' Volunteer Award. A heartfelt thank you to Yvonne’s grandson, Max Watson, for presenting Ruth with the award and delivering such a brave and emotional speech - it was a touching moment!

Thanks also to Rachel, Deana and the team for their incredible efforts over the weekend. The club was jam-packed, not only hosting our two awards ceremonies, but also a large funeral, a wedding and two touring teams across Saturday and Sunday. Everyone worked exceptionally hard and it was deeply appreciated.

To our club sponsors Bay Travel, thank you for joining us, sharing information with our visitors and holding the raffle. The winning prize is a £200 Bay Travel voucher and they've kindly offered to split the proceeds of the raffle between our Mini & Junior section and St John’s Hospice. Your support means a lot and is greatly appreciated!

This season has been a real turning point. We've seen the Mini & Junior sections grow not just as teams, but as a strong club community. Just a couple of seasons ago, we were really struggling with the Micros - but thanks to Alf Benson, who kept it going, and now to Oli Cowey and the dedicated coaching team, we have over 40 children registered aged 4-5 alone!

Our Team Admins have been absolute heroes, especially with communication and organising volunteers on match days. We can’t thank you enough. This is our club, a place for everyone from 4 year olds to the old-timers (some who believe they've still got it!)

Please continue to support us: bring your kids, invite your friends. Next season, we’ll be focusing on growing girls’ rugby, especially for teenage girls. Keep an eye on our posts and support us wherever you can!
