With deep sadness we announce the death of Dave McFall. Dave represented the Vale at Junior and Senior level. This included the Vale Colts team that beat Leicester Colts, earning them World Rugby Magazine team of the month. Dave was instrumental in helping his beloved Morecambe High’s first team to an unbeaten season in the same year.
Dave returned to senior rugby in 1999 representing all 4 senior teams including many first team appearances and the A team that won the the North West Premier League.
The Vale would like to extend its compassion and support to Dave’s loving family and many friends during this period of sadness. Xx
Dave’s funeral will take place at Morecambe Parish Church on Thursday 15th Sept at 3:30pm. This will be followed by a short committal service at Lancaster Crematorium for family and close friends at 4:30pm. The Vale of Lune Clubhouse will be open to everyone for drinks, food and to share memories of Dave’s life ❤️
