Sections of the M60 motorway will be closed over the weekend from 21:00 BST Friday 20th to 06:00 on Monday 23rd.
Eastbound traffic will be stopped from junction 18 at Simister Island to junction 20 at Rochdale.
Sedgley Park is accessed from junction 17 of the M60 at Whitefield. Kick off at Sedgley will be 11-00 am, so at that time on a Sunday, the impact may be small, but I suggest you advise the parents etc, as traffic may back up from junction 18.
I presume they will be travelling down the M61. One alternative is to come off the M61 at junction 3. Follow A666 towards Kearsley , then A667 through Stoneclough, Ringley and on towards Whitefield, where the Club is situated. It’s longer but may save time, if the traffic is backing up on the M60.
