As the Vale of Lune 200 Club membership reaches 300, some changes to the running of the club are needed to maintain the efficient service that the 200 Club provides. The Exec Board wishes to express our gratitude to Trevor McMeeking and Karan Banga for their admirable efforts.
It has recently proved difficult to keep track of who is and who is not a member. Therefore, the following changes are to be implemented:
Prize draws are now made quarterly. The annual 200 Club membership will run from Jan to Dec. From 1st of January 2026, new numbers will be issued to all members when subscriptions are paid, from No. 1 onwards, and will change each year. Anyone with a personal preference for a particular number should ask Trevor or Karan for their favourite number.
Anyone who does not join in January, but does so later in the year, cannot be included in all of the quarterly draws through out the year. So, join early (January) and enjoy all of the benefits.
Some members have not yet increased their standing orders to £25. Anyone paying less than £25 will not qualify for membership. Standing orders can only be amended by the account holder, not the 200 Club.
All 200 Club members should, of course, be current members of the Vale of Lune RUFC. We will shortly be announcing the date of the December lunch and grand draw. Please ensure that your 2025 subs are up to date.
