The long tradition of a players' weekend away at the close of the season is as vibrant as ever.

Hon Life Member David Hughes, supported by Paul Scott, Dave Robinson and Paul Mason, organiser a terrific cultural visit to North Wales. The programme of events including social fixtures at Llandudno and Denbigh. There were 38 tourists in the party including five Welsh guests, recruited by former Vale player Leon Guerke.
