Vale of Lune RUFC

The Vale of Lune RUFC U9’s team is for boys & girls of all abilities in Year 4 from September 2025
New players are always welcome, please feel free to join in one of our training sessions before you take out membership. This season we begin to play contact rules and tackling. Gumshields are now mandatory.
Coaching is based on developing players and we are guided by and encouraged the RFU core values of rugby: TEAMWORK, RESPECT, ENJOYMENT, DISCIPLINE and SPORTSMANSHIP. We follow both the RFU and Vale of Lune RUFC policies on safe guarding. Our coaches are fully qualified and certified for the activities they lead and are DBS cleared and RFU trained.
