[The U8’s Team is available for Boys and Girls alike and of all abilities. We welcome all new players who are age 7 from 1st September (Year 3 at Primary School)
U8’s play TAG Rugby which is NON CONTACT. The emphasis being on Running, Passing and Evasion skills. All staff are DBS cleared and RFU trained. As Coaches we work to develop the core principles of rugby in children, Teamwork, Respect, Discipline, Sportsmanship and most of all ENJOYMENT.
We train on a Thursday evening between 6-7pm, alternating between the 3G pitch at Morecambe Bay Academy and the training pitch at the Vale of Lune Rugby Club. We play matches with local Northwest teams on Sundays at 11am, fixtures are on Pitchero. At the Vale of Lune Everybody Plays! All new players are welcome to come and give rugby a TRY and make new friends.
